Who this is for
You started a divorce or legal separation on your own, and the case has been sitting open. Maybe you filed the first papers months or even years ago and then life got in the way. Now you want to finish it.
You may have prepared the first papers yourself, or someone else did. Either way, you decide what goes into your judgment paperwork. Deanna prepares it the way you direct.
What the service covers
Deanna Wilson, a registered and bonded Legal Document Assistant with 40 years in legal settings, prepares the judgment forms you select using the information and agreements you give her. She checks names, case details and every page before anything is printed.
Court requirements vary from case to case, and the court decides whether a judgment is entered. You decide what to file. Deanna cannot represent you, review your case for problems, or advise you about your rights.
- Preparation of the judgment paperwork you select, at your direction
- A careful check of names, case number and every page
- A draft for you to review before anything is signed or filed
- Notarization of any signature that needs it, at your location
What to have ready

Questions
It is the set of paperwork a self represented person submits to ask the court to enter a judgment and finish a divorce or legal separation. Which forms belong in your packet depends on your case, and choosing them is your decision. Deanna prepares the forms you select.
Judgment packets are priced by phone because every case is different. Call (619) 345-0006, and we will confirm the fee before any work starts.
That is a question about your case and the law, which we cannot answer. The court's self help resources or an attorney can tell you where your case stands. If you decide to move forward, Deanna can prepare the paperwork you direct.
No. Deanna checks that the paperwork is prepared the way you directed and that names and details are consistent. Whether the court accepts it is up to the court.
In California, the title paralegal is reserved for people who work under an attorney's supervision. When someone is representing themselves and wants the forms they choose prepared for them, that work is done by a registered Legal Document Assistant. That is Deanna's role. Whether to involve an attorney is your decision.
